Well, I am in Ohio and my precinct captain (whoever he or she is) certainly does not know how I am going to vote because I have never been called, contacted, or otherwise and I am a Republican, although the Republicans have no way of knowing that.

The same goes for our household.
I'm not sure how you could designate Ohio as solid Republican anyway after 2000. The popular vote was divided 50/46/3 for Bush/Gore/Nader in 2000. Nader won't be on the Ohio ballot this time.

This no time to relax.

Maybe if you voted in Republican primaries you are assumed to be safe.
I have gotten mail from several Republican groups -- none from Dims. Guess they know not to waste their postage!
The mailings have been helpful, because there is info on the court races and lower level jobs in the county.
Just called by Ken Blackwell (recording) making sure I know where my precinct is! He is telling voters: please go to your proper precinct!
