There is no difference in Orthodox, all Orthodox are brothers and sisters of each other. We are one Church. Patriarchs are more of the leadership/administrators in a pseudo democratic body of the Church as a whole.
What is the ethnic orientation of the church you currently attend? I do understand how the EOC is officially organized, but in practice, many churches have specific ethnic orientations. For example, near where I live is a Greek oriented church. Up the road a few miles, a Russian oriented one. What is the orientation of the church you attend, in the main?
