My point is really this. Authenticating the video doesn't really seem to add much to the discussion. We already know they want to attack us before the election. Think of it from the opposite position. Could anyone really argue that they don't want to attack us before the election?

Right, it does properly refocus the Terror issue, but note that ABC's hesitation is more complex than simply wanting to do Qerri a favor.

ABC doesn't want the wrath of their fellow travellers so close to an election. They've completely shown their hypocrisy at freely airing Qerri's charges while withholding national-security-related threat information, even if it were the half-baked work of some other deranged madmen or would show how badly al-Qaeda has been beaten back.
