Doctors in Ramallah fighting for Arafat's life

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat was fighting for his life as of Wednesday night, after his condition deteriorated sharply on Wednesday evening, officials in Arafat's office told Israeli security officials.
Arafat, 75, lost consciousness Wednesday evening, and a team of Jordanian doctors, headed by his personal neurologist, Ashraf Kurdi, was urgently summoned to join the Tunisian and Jordanian doctors already treating him. At Egypt's request, a team of Egyptian doctors is also en route.

It's not what Bush will say that will bother me. It will be what the RATs say. I'm sure they'll blame Bush for not securing peace for the Palestinians in Arafat's lifetime.

I hope death comes a knocking for the murderer and when he meets his maker he rots in hell denied of the fruits of heaven he believes that he will recieve so strongly. This will send the palestinian authority in choas and maybe a more friendly diplomatic person will come into power and help end terror from that group.

Even in his death Israel will have shown him mercy! ....more than he ever showed to the people of Israel! The man TURNED down a NEW Arab state because he couldn't have Jerusalem!
I hope Jimmy Carter is keeping close tabs on this. We have him to thank for "converting" this murderous terrorist in a "statesman".

I was trying to analyze exactly HOW this is going to impact things over there, and the best I can come up with is, "It's gonna be INTERESTING."
Yeah...the PLO and the rest must be pretty concerned about this! I'm willing to bet that as soon as Arafat breathes his last, and the doctors all clear out that the IDF/IAF goes after all his underlings/associates.
I think once he's gone, a fair number of his cohorts with "political aspirations" either go into hiding, or leave the country.
We all know that somehow, somebody will blame this on Israel though....which means we'll never get to find out what really killed the old toad...since they're going to accuse Israel of poisoning him.

Both Arafat and Clinton stink of what they are!
That said, it will be too bad if Arafat gets what he deserves and dies
