Nothing further. Freaking Russians ...
To borrow a phrase from one of my favorite blogs:
AAAAAAIIIIIIIIHHHHH! MY EYES!!!!!!!!
The most reasoned post yet.
DU is in denial... MSNBC and CNN will report and they will scream.
>>BBC is saying Putin will make a statement soon.<<
Seriously???
Tell me what he says!!
Am I DREAMING????!!!!!!
MSNBC came in with breaking news reporting Gertz's story. THe train is moving out.
What is holy salt?
Like his mentor, the first JFK who campaigned on a
fabrication & caused the Bay of Pigs crisis (just because he was so darn ambitious to be President), looks like our present day JFK is doing somewhat the same type of thing.
(per PBS documentary on the Bay of Pigs incident and our
nuclear crisis with Russia).
Good Lord....it's almost bedtime for me...now I'll be up for hours!
I wonder if this is OUR October surpise?
I like your tagline. We saw some Dems at a rally on CSPAN one Sunday chanting Hey Hey Ho Ho George Bush has got to go! My youngest (3) and I were on the way out the door to cut the grass (he rides in my lap on the mower). We started chanting Hey Hey Ho Ho This Tall Grass Has Got To Go
Don't forget Indyk has been in Syria on Kerrys behalf.
"...Defense officials said the Russians can provide information on what happened to the Iraqi weapons and explosives that were transported out of the country. Officials believe the Russians also can explain what happened to Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs. "
"Speaking of caa-caaing in your pants--has anyone ventured over to the DU sewer to get their reaction to this?"
Does anyone have their hip boots on?
I may be slow but I just don't get it. What would motivate the Ruskies to join up with a losing cause like Saddam? If they had to do "cleanup" work, why didn't they complete it much earlier in the months leading up to the war instead of just the immediate weeks before? How could the Russians and Saddam's men spirit away a couple hundred tons of explosives over several hundred miles just before the war despite constant surveillance (satellite and what not) by the US forces that focused on known arms depots and the borders with surrounding countries? Just seems too out of left field for me. Maybe I am missing something but I will wait for someone from the Bush camp to confirm this before I take it anymore seriously.
Pat Buchanan will; he just read the paragraph at the end of Scarbrough and said he would talk about it tomorrow night.
Some of the best stuff happens at night it seems! God I love the night shift.
I am now.
Which explains the finds of Chem suits, nerve agent antidotes and the like---but no NBC agents in country---they were spirited away.
Appreciate that link, I had lost it with my recent drive crash.I was too forgetful to remember where it came from.
