there are cost guard all over he place. Right now there are a bunch of ships backed up waiting to get into port, the myth that the ports are unguarded is a joke. Each ship holds hundreds of containers, there is no way you could check evry one of them.

**********************************

I understand that the containers, via agreements with other countries, are checked BEFORE they come here - Much less chance of blowing up in our harbors - not to mention, if the containers are targeted - the bombs or whatever, would be put on overseas?

I'm sure sKerry knows this - or would if he ever attended the security meetings.

Just another of his disinformation talking points?

However, something alluded to on another post re cargo ships...made me wonder (shiver)... what if all of sKerry's emphasis on cargo containers is because he's privy to something?

He is, after all, tied up with terrorist groups that are are also tied in with Bin L...

What, you say...how can I say this?

Do some research - here, I'll get you started.

Being as I can see about 10 ships sitting out in the ocean waiting to move into port I would say that the reason for the wait is for the extra security measures being taken at this time. Besides the strike I have not seen this many ships waiting to go into port in a while.

Just as foreign airlines have to furnish a manifest to the FAA before take-off, ships have to furnish a manifest to the Coast Guard then they decide from the manifest which ships need more thorough check when they get here.

If everyone is doing such a bad job, how to they explain what happened to Tiger Woods and his new bride when they went into port in Puerto Rico without receiving proper clearance. He got off with a fine, but the entire ship was searched.
