You are a very brave man and you did the right thing by reporting him. What happened in Beslan could happen here so, good job.
Just to be safe, I'd buy a gun, security system and a dog, but then I'm paranoid anyway. :)

better to be safe than sorry. Everyone should keep their eyes and ears open, and ready to report any suspicious activity if necessary.
I've also got a call into the school district of the elementary school around the corner where we vote. The school across the street is one of those "last chance inns" for juveniles and I will walk across in the morning and talk to someone personally.
I would just be sick if something happened and I (or law enforcement) hadn't warned them. Even if NOTHING happens, I'm one of those "better safe, than sorry" types.

That's not paranoid, that's rational, post 9-11 thinking. Where will the police be to defend you if something happened behind their back? They can't be everywhere all the time.
