Forgive my atheist ignorance, but if you're giving your god credit for ALL things, shouldn't got get credit for the abortions too? Isn't ALL, rather inclusive?
Each person can choose, go with God and his son Jesus Christ or go with the devil. God does not get credit for the devil's actions, the devil does.
All things work together for the glory of God. We may not understand certain things in our limited capabilities. God's word does not deny the evil in this world since it it composed of sinners (some saved by grace - some not).
Excellent question. It is better explained by saying that God either causes or allows all things. God caused my children to be born. God allows abortions, because if he prevented sins we wouldn't have free will, we'd just be automatons.
