Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest TuesdayScott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.
The defense maintains ........

I think that was the run out of money defense ....they couldn't afford any other hired guns ....they say some find God in a foxhole, maybe Snott will find him in his 6X9 or whatever size cage he winds up in........

If Geragos was a good attorney, he wouldn't have bothered to put on a defense. No defense beats a lame defense every time....I see a conviction in Snott Peterson's future.

Yep I know he was gagged, but he was finding any way he could to get his mug in from of the cameras.
The day he went into chambers with the Judge, he came storming out, not looking too happy. And then poof, he was gone. I'll have to ask around and see if he has at least been in the courtroom.
