Bush is coming to the Detroit area once again.
Oh, you haven't heard it in the news? What a surprise! Here are the details:
Wednesday, Oct. 27th, 6pm, Pontiac Silverdome
Tickets available from 8am - 8pm at GOP campaign offices
Oakland County at Farmington Hills Victory Center, 28124 Orchard Lake Road, Suite 100 (248)381-8282;
Rochester Victory Center, 1633 Star Batt Drive, Rochester Hills (248)245-0180,
Oakland County Republican headquarters, 30701 Woodward Ave., Suite 310 in Royal Oak (248)655-0501.
See you there!
Awwww, shucks. And I worked so hard to conceal it!
Well, I don't know if you will 80K in the dome for Bush, but you might 40-50k, remember Bush needs a stage area which cuts down on seating, and it is during the week.
No they haven't given up on Ohio, Bush and others will be in Ohio this week up to election day. Heard Ken Mehlman on the Tony Snow show this morning, say that people in Ohio are actually saying they are getting to many visits.
A couple of polls have shown MI in play, and so must both camps internals, since Bush is showing up and Kerry was also making a stop
Just got my tickets! I asked how many people they were expecting...the response: 80,000! Even if it doesn't sell out, ya gotta love the confidence.
Don't give up on Ohio, we came through for the GOP when it
was certain the Dem's would win. Nixon carried Ohio against
Kennedy.
I wouldn't dream of it. :-) That post was dripping with sarcasm.
...security needs to be on their toes!!!!
There is a Conservative named Joe Pags on from 2-4 this afternoon. I hope to get through to him and let him know.
He is on 1310AM if anyone else gets the chance.
Excellent!
email him this while you're at it!
A Primer on Kerry's Vietnam Treachery (send to undecided voters)
The word got out to Joe Pags and he mentioned it on his show.
Go Michigan! (Presuming MI FReepers have been pinged... ;-)
I think we have Kerry on the run here. I just read that he is coming back to Michigan on Saturday. Gee, I thought we lived in a blue state. We may not be able to overcome the union vote but we sure as heck will keep him busy here.
A Detroit News tracking poll on Sunday gave Bush a 47-42 edge over Kerry, but other polls have put Kerry in the lead.
Please, Please, please work hard to get all the Bush voters you know to the polls. do whatever it takes! If we can take MI, it's over for the dims.
We have a dynamic team here working their hearts out at all the phone banks. I have been there many times during the campaign and I was surprised to see how many volunteers we have working those lines. We feel good about our chances and I think that John Kerry recognizes our hard work or he wouldn't keep coming back.
Both Detroit papers have Bush in the lead!
And there's that marriage referendum....
Go Michigan
Excellent and keep up the hard work. Here in Milwaukee my daughter and I are phone banking as often as our schedules permit. We are both employed full time and go to school nights, but we manage. Only 1 week to go!!!
I thought this was supposed to be in the Palace at Auburn Hills...
Kerry is toast if that many people in Michigan are showing up.
If Kerry and Edwards werent married to freaks, I think they would have a shot.
Are there conservative news-talk programs in SE Michigan that are telling people about this? If not, can they be called? ;-)
There is one....WJR. But you couldn't actually call them conservative talk radio. Called them early this morning. They said they announced it at 7:30am. Not nearly as much as I hear about Kerry coming with...what's his face...bon jovi??...somebody like that.
Rush comes on 12 - 3, Hannity 7pm - 10pm. The rest are flaming liberals who I must turn off to remain sane. They also have some slick talk show host in the morning which tried to give legs to the "Latest weapons scandal" this morning.
During some interview with a Time magazine reporter, he pretended like he was earnestly trying to figure out just when those weapons could have come up missing?????? Get this....I called the news line of the station...spoke to the gal that answered and told her that NBC reported it April, 2003. She said, well Rush said that yesterday.
What aggrevates me is that I guess I should have known better. This guy from Time and the host spoke for almost 30 minutes about when the weapons could have gone missing, when they knew very well it was an old report.
All....I have experienced MSM spin FIRST HAND!
I did, however, ask her..."Are you affiliated with CBS?"
ditto
