Why? Because I believe that the SEC is flat out the best conference in football most years, and a return to greatness by Florida only makes this great league more competitive.
Tennessee is always decent to good, Georgia is now a perennial top 10 team, and a resurgent Florida makes the SEC East a beast; LSU will be there year in, year out, Auburn may snag a national title this year, Arkansas is always fiesty and Alabama is slowly re-emerging as well.
SEC is SECond to none, baby!
Hey LL. I was at the Florida/ LSU game a couple of weeks ago and it was a good one.
the Tigers were really vocal even when it looked like they were going to be crushed in the early going. My group sat very closely to the big section of LSU supporters and they NEVER let up. They had a couple of crass chants (which didn't really bother anyone) like "it sucks, to be, a Florida Gator." We just laughed it off. All the LSU fans were really gracious after they pulled out the win.
If we have to lose, I don't mind losing to LSU at all. It was still a fun time. Go SEC!!!
Change that "is" to a "was." Both the ACC and the SEC have four teams in the top 25, but two of the top five are ACC.
The ACC and SEC are at least equals (this year) and when the ACC is done with expansion...
