Another screaming meltdown ???
I saw that episode, and wondered why Buchanan didn't just reach over and slam that guy's face into the table (as an Irishman). I hang with Scotch and Irish folks, but please! He must have been on unprescribed analgesics.
I believe you got it right. O'Donnell the P#@#Y, refused to apologize. I am going to write to them and ask when are they having O'Neill back on to complete his segment. They owe him his time uninterupted.
I would accept, in lieu of a genuine apology, MSNBC airing the full version of Stolen Honor on Saturday night. They could keep Oddonnel on a long as they want if they did that.
Bit the leg of one guest while urinating on Pat's leg!! That's funny!
I agree! MSNBC should give John O neil the whole hour to state his case for the abuse he had to endure on Friday night! This gentleman sat there and never raised his voice once while being called LIAR AND CREEPY LIAR every two secondSs. SHAMEFUL! And where was the apology? I THINK ITS TIME TO FIRE OFF A FEW MORE E-MAILS TO THEM BEFORE I HIT THE SACK! I want O Donnell fired now!
Wolfsen has no personality.
That's a great email. I'm working on mine now and that gives me some ideas on what to write. Thanks!
My father grew up on the border of Penn/New Jersey. He absolutely loved the area. Hated Memphis but stayed. (Said we had 2 nice days a year one in the spring and one in the fall. The rest of the year it was either 100 degrees and 90% humidity or 37 degrees and wet. No way to be comfortable in either!)
Friends of mine that have moved to NJ have not been in your area evidentily. Thay say everyone is rabidly Demonrats except a few RINOs. Hell I stored one guy's guns!
Thats a great point you made about Michael Savage! I completely forgot about that. What did it take them all of two seconds to fire him. But that scum O Donnell gets away scott free! I DONT THINK SO!
As is Laura Ingraham, who is from Glastonbury, Connecticut.
No problemo... I think Joe "could" build a strong following... but not with guests like O'Donnell. There must be a family link with he and Rosie -- they are both despicable human forms.
Wow, I finally tracked down video of it. A true meltdown. He most definitely should have been let go.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! APOLGIZE TO JOHN O'NEILL.
"As I said in my last e-mail - your show is the only reason MSNBC is ever turned on at our house. EVER. That has been changed.
Short of firing your "media consultant" it will never be turned on until John O'Neil is invited back and O'Donnel PERSONALLY apologizes to him BEFORE THE ELECTION.
John O'Neil deserves the apology. He was viciously attacked on a very serious issue and was not allowed to speak."
Nice visual. Thanks. Just what I need to dream about.
Why does O'Reilly, who hasn't been there always refer to the war as a "mess" as if there was no redemption for the war? Cherekopf actually gives a lot of info that Sir O'Reilly needs to research.
I know this isn't part of th eMSNBC thread, but just saw it so had to comment!
On Friday evening we discussed the latest Swift Boat ad buy with "Unfit for Command" author John O'Neill and MSNBC Senior Political Analyst Lawrence O'Donell.
As you know, we often have heated discussions on Scarborough Country and we welcome a vigorous, but respectfuld, debate.
Lawrence O'Donnell is and has been a valued contributor. However, the manner in which he expressed his disagreement crossed the line.
MSNBC believes he was disrespectful to you the viewer and that his insults did nothing to forward the debate or the understanding of a very critical issue. We're spoken to Lawrence O'Donnell and he agrees.
We can assure you that this will not happen again on this program.
END QUOTED STATEMENT
No apology from O'D to the viewers or to O'N and no statement from him that he won't do it again. Maybe he'll just do it on another show.
O'Donnell is a disgrace who should be fired.
Click to email MSNBC general feedback and feedback for Scarborough. Politely ask them to fire O'Donnell if he is unwilling to make a sincere on-air apology to O'Neill and the viewers.
I do definitely think Joe could build a strong following because there are a lot of people out there who like conservative shows...and he stands out from the crowd because he's decent to people, stands for good conservative values, but he's his own man too. I always wondered why the ratings weren't higher, it's a much more fun show that Greta's for sure.
I agree O'Donnell should have been on the say an apology to the viewers IN PERSON.
