Sometimes, Zbiggy-baby, enemies make themselves, and it's not OUR fault.
Now, have a cookie.

To get the Europeans to act, any new administration will have to confront them with strategic options. This will happen when the Iranians get nukes mounted on intermediate range missiles and the US and Israel have a missile shield. I predict a little more "cooperation" at that time. ;-)

Is there any member of a past administration we HAVEN'T heard from? We haven't heard from anybody from Lincoln's administration yet.

Don't forget: as a Pole, his antisemitism smells from afar... Pretending to attack racism while playing the racist. Nice trick.

Hey, that plan worked with the Soviet Union.
Didn't it?

"The rates of desertion from the American-trained new Iraqi security forces are dangerously high" Can anyone substantiate this claim? (or any of the other arguments he is basing his theory on?)

Don't tar the Poles with a broad brush.
Many Poles gave their lives to save their fellow citizens who were Jewish.
There was a reason why so many Jews in the 1900s chose to settle in Poland rather than Russia or a more economically dynamic Prussia.
It was in large part because the Poles were better neighbors to Jewish communities that Prussians or Russians.
That being said, I suspect that Mr. Brzezinski doesn't care if Israel exists or not.

Bzrezinski is an anti-semite because he is Polish? All Poles are anti-semites?
Does bigotry run in YOUR family, or did you acquire it on your own?

Talk about projection... the only one with the misdiagnosis is Zbigniew Brezinski. Let's see the evidence for this alleged "moderate" Islam.

Not weird at all - Helms was a well known Saudi Arabia -phile and was AN enthusiastic supporter of Chechen independence and of airstrikes against the Serbs on behalf of the Bosnian and Albanain Muslims. - Shocking facts to many but not those Freepers that woke up during the Kosovo war.

I'm sure Edwards will let us know very soon now.

He's the one who gave us these terrorists in the first place when they let the Shah and the fall of Iran happen. His record is one of incompetence. More than that KC. He's the one who gave us Osama & Co.
I remember a couple years ago seeing him on the tube GLOATING that they'd suckered the Russians into invading afghanistan.
Without the Russian invasion, there would BE no OBL or Al Queda.
Jerk that he is :(

I remember Zbigniew Brzezinski AND the Carter administration. Brzezinski was one of the most inept members of Carter's cabinet. The failed policies hatched between the two are largely responsible for the current mess we find ourselves in today.
His words should fall on deaf ears.

No wonder Carter's presidency was so bad.

This should have had a "barf alert" attached. Maybe we need to add a new category, "doofus alert" or "Jimmy Carter alert" to let us know when a posting contains something written by one of the many incompetents from his administration.

I don't buy that at all. Carter never suckered anyone on Afghanistan.
