I'm glad to hear it's curable. But if they had to do a tracheotomy, it sounds like it might be advanced. Im no doctor. Maybe someone can set me straight.
He could have had a lump; my first husband had this same thing.
I find the tracheotomy strange. Not normal procedure for thyroid cancer - usually you just remove the lump, or remove all or part of the thyroid gland itself. (I am a thyroid cancer survivor.) I'm thinking there might be more to this than just the thyroid cancer.
