"Not charging the handful of Muslims who are haters is like not charging the handful of Italians who are part of the Mafia -- it is a misguided act of political correctness. The majority of Muslims -- we hope -- do not support Kathrada. He should be made an example of, not have excuses made for him. Justice calls for it."
EXACTLY!
"The majority of Muslims -- we hope -- do not support Kathrada."
Their very silence is damning and convicts them all. They'd smile wryly as our infidel throats are cut.

My same post on that other thread, n: Nice words and sentiment, but Islam's actions betray it.
Unfortunately, the majority of muslims support this behavior in a number of ways. They attend mosques where this type of preaching occurs. They financially support mosques where this type of preaching occurs. They give aid and comfort to these preachers and terrorists by allowing them into their social circles. They support and insure that preaching of hatred will continue by financing madrassas. They support terrrorism by financing fake charities. They deny that terrorism is a muslim problem. They blame Americans and the west for all terrorism. They blame Americans for all problems in the muslim world. They make excuses for muslims who are terrorists. They refuse to condemn terrorists and terrorist acts. They refuse to condemn muslim preachers who promote hatred. And these are the "peaceful mulims."
There are estimated to be 1.5 billion muslims in the world of which 150 million identify themselves as islamists, bent on destroying all that is no muslim. These are the muslims who are suicide bombers, bomb makers, murderers and terror strategists. These islamists are the "army" of all of islam. There is no factual proof to show that islam is a religion of peace regardless of how many times this matra is repeated.
Just as prior to WWII, failure to see the imminent danger of this terrorist cult that pretends to be a religion will result in a worldwide struggle of epic proportions. Islam is not a religion and should not be accorded the honor of being called such. Islam is a cancer on humanity and should be treated as you would treat a cancer in your body.
" the majority of muslims support this behavior in a number of ways. They attend mosques where this type of preaching occurs"
Gotta stop you right there. Majority of muslims DON'T attend mosque. In this country, only about 7% attend Friday prayer.
"They support and insure that preaching of hatred will continue by financing madrassas."
These are mostly wahhabi. Again, NOT the majority.
The majority of muslims support hatred by doing one or more of the items that I state, which includes not condemning other muslims for their actions.
"150 million identify themselves as islamists"
Where'd you get that figure?
Your tunnel vision keeps you from seeing the big picture. Islam is not a religion and is not peaceful....an overview of the facts will show this to be true.
I'm with you 7.62...
I posted on the other thread as well...I don't trust them. I don't care what they say publically. Read what their "holy" writings teach. That cannot be spun to be anything other than what it says.
Some do the bombing, some don't. But the ones that are against it don't say too much. And if they do, they'd better watch their backs.
Your sweeping, generalized, unsubstantiated statements don't reveal facts.
To Canada's shame, I suspect nothing will be done about this.
Too many of them here, too much political power. Too much appeasing these people. Our blind or treacherous liberal government is afraid of them.
Disgusting. Shame on our spineless government if nothing is done with this terrorist supporter.
Imans, in any country, who issue fatwahs against the USA have pretty much declared war on our country and should be treated in that fashion. A spray of bullets as they leave a building, or a 2000lb on their home in the middle of the night would be appropriate.
You seem to acknowledge the danger in muslims publicly speaking out against the radical extremists, yet when muslims dare to speak out, you don't trust them.
That puts them in a bit of spot. If you (and others) aren't going to trust what some of the brave souls say, what's the point in risking their lives to say it?
Self fulfilling?
Doesn't that also apply here in the U.S.? Hate Crime laws or no?
Never mind.
