If NJ is close, Connecticut is close too. Look at the electoral map for 1976 and 1988.

And if Connecticut is close, so is Vermont. Can Maryland be far behind?

Kerry is rapidly being reduced to the current Democrat base of support - MA, RI, NY, DC, IL, CA, WA.

An election result like that would be a true embarrassment.

CT and New Jersey are unique in that they border NY and we both lost many of our citizens to the islamofascists.

I have a neighbor who is running for stae rep on the dem ticket. His son is in Iraq and his wife is voting for Bush. Why you ask? Two reasons, security and security..

heck, CA and WA may not even be safe if an East Coast blowout depresses the vote...

Looks like it. If Kerry wins only hardcore Democratic states, its an admission he has no appeal to swing voters. If that happens I'd look for every state but those six and D.C to turn Red. The worst Democratic nightmare. I would really like it to be a short election night and by that I mean its all over by 9:00 PM EST. About two hours before the polls close on the Left Coast.
