yes, but none of those truths are important for the Times to make a story out of this. they float some story about missing explosives on Monday, then on Wednesday, something big blows up in iraq that kills 100+ Americans. they tie the two stories together: "the missing explosives were used to launch the attack". they've got themselves an October Surprise.
That was my thinking too. Actually I was thinking the explosives might be used for a troop attack in reality.
Remember that journalist who was kidnapped and talked about rooms and rooms filled with stuff?
Believe me, if anyone used DMX in substantial amounts on a target you won't be getting "100 deaths".
