I'm in Michigan. I have SEEN support for Bush from black people in my neighborhood and around the Detroit area in the form of (gasp!) W '04 and Bush/Cheney bumperstickers on vehicles with black people driving. I have NEVER seen this kind of open support for Bush coming from the black community. I think it's the gay marriage issue. Everyone is welcome in the Republican party. GO BUSH!
IN these times of unparalelled economic growth, and increasing salaries, more and more blacks are making more money. With this increase in prosperity, they are realizing what taxation is about.

I have my view, and my view is my view. I can't tell you in 20 years or whenever, if someone made a persuasive argument, the world changes. ... So I don't predict the future. What I tell you is that my position is what it is." --John Kerry
"I think it's the gay marriage issue." I am cerain that it is here. I used to work with a lot of blacks and a lot of queers and while the blacks were tolerant, they certainly didn't think it was acceptable for them to be allowed to marry and were very vocal about it.
