What a huge crowd in the last three pictures of #17. Where is it? It must have taken hours for all those people to get in and they must have come from miles around. And I wonder if they can all hear the President's speech. The huge crowd indicates tremendous enthusiasm for the president. Bush is going to win by a landslide.
I think today's rally was in Hershey,PA, in the lovely conservative part of Pennsylvania. Around Labor Day, I was fortunate to be at a huge rally (22,000) in my old high school stadium in Erie, PA, a city which usually votes 'rat. An excellent sound system was set up and we could hear everything very clearly. There was such love and enthusiasm for the President and his family that day. Many people came from long distances and stood for hours in blistering heat. I heard many say "I came here to stand up for President Bush." They were disgusted by the treatment he's received, after all he's done for our country. I hope you get to go to one of his rallies, too!
Pictures were in Hershey PA. and it took us 2:45 to clear all 31,000 people in to the stands. The sound was great. And the people were having a great time. I rejected only 3 obvious Kerry supporters from entering.
At end of rally, a Whole 12 Protesters were there while all 31,000 people walked by and shouted them down.
This made volunteering all worth it.
