Do you remember the great A's teams of the seventies? They all hated each other on those teams, yet they won three championships in a row. IOW, A-Rod would have been just fine on the 2004 BoSox.

I do remember those teams, they couldn't get through a week without fist fights in the clubhouse.

A-Rod would have been OK with this team, but the point is the Sox won it all without him and maintained their unique chemistry.
