EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin (CNN) -- A White House spokesman denied Wednesday that President Bush told Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson that he did not expect casualties from the invasion of Iraq.
"The president never made such a comment," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said.

As with the O'Reilly scandal that was set up and contrived by the left (News Corp, etc.), Democrats are trying to pass the lie that Robertson is with us.
Neither of them are with us. Let Democrats continue their silly spree about their spiritualist, mysticist, romanticist entertainment personalities. They are trying to link their own pandering pussy footers to us.
Pat Robertson may well be a good, God-fearing Christian; but he is a total wacko.
Than why did the Pentagon prepare for 10,000 casualties? Bush prepared himself for 3000, 5000 dead and 5000 wounded if the Iraqi's put up a fight with chemical or biological agents.
Bush knows that the casualties could have been much, much worse. So do we.
Also, McMurray would like to put a wedge between Bush and the Pat Robertson Bush and that was his way of doing it.
he probably was trying to impress Paula Zahn ... well if he did then good...he's lost his soul and his following, the ones with brains, because he's a fool and a hypocrite...
It's called being led by the flesh, not the spirit. That's how Pat Robertson could end up on CNN, a breeding ground of the enemy. Wanting the praise and spotlight of the natural world. Wanting to be a player in the election. Instead of on his knees, praying for President Bush.
Pat Robertson seems to be a reasonably decent guy, but he has a very large foot and he regularly puts it in his mouth.
Over the years he had been responsible for hundreds of gaffes like this. The liberal media can absolutely count on him to make Christians look stupid.
Amen to that.
With this, saying that the United States had it coming in reguards to 911 and saying that Charles Taylor was a good Baptist, Robertson has proven he is not an ally of the administration.
Sounds like there's another nut job roaming around in the revival tent.
Unlike the evangelists I do admire, Pat Robertson makes it all about him rather than all about Him.
I wonder if the LIEberals gave Robertson real silver or just 30 silver-colored discs.
I think he is getting close to falling under the "false prophets" category.
whitehouse should of told cnn shove it sc mbag l sbian that they would respect and understand

Interesting that the nitpicking nitwit media would believe Pat Robertson over Pres. Bush.
They never listened to TSU address!?!
Is he a Republican or a Democrat? It's time for PAT! (/SNL Reference)
If you were watching his 700 Club daily you would never ask such a stupid question or listening to rumors!!!
It isn't the nature of the evidence but the seriousness of the charge. -Democrat way of thinking
Naw, if Pat Robertson made that comment he's flaky.
