Heavy Metal was born, lived, and died with Black Sabbath. Ah, the subtle transcendental qualities of
Fairies Wear Boots.
This somehow reminds me of the time Pamela Anderson wondered why Hillary didn't leave Bill, like she left Nikki. To which a wag replied "because her husband's the most powerful man in the world, while your's was a drummer in a hair band."

Very thoughtful of Queensryche to check in from the Land of Suck to let us know what they're thinking.
With a name like Queensryche, they're obviously trying to appeal to the left's natural base - fascists.

Dream Theater is the better hard/jazz/progressive American "rock" outfit. Fates Warning a close second, 'ryche has gone way downhill.

Send a FR-mail to "weegee" so he can add you to the Rock & Roll ping list we've got. I'll be interested in hearing about your after-report of the show.
Thanks!

Uh oh! Another college flunky band with less knowledge in their entire essence than the average conservative has in his/her right front tooth.
Gosh, what's next? Marilyn Manson going on a vote for Kerry tour.... I'm frightened...
NOT!

Lars Ulrich has been campaigning for Kerry and is very anti-Bush...you might want to re-think that Metallica thingFigures, he wasn't even born in this country.

Queensryche is a GREAT band. Was. After Operation:Mindcrime, it's all downhill.
Hey Geoff, it's not your politics turning us off. It;s your dead creativity. At least Sean Penn can still act.

I always liked these guys, pretty much everything up to, but not including "Empire". I kinda figured they were more Libertarian, rather than lefties, but frankly I couldn't care less about their political opinions.
They are trying to make a big comeback, and they don't see the irony in what they are doing - The liberals will eat it up, and these "anti-consumers" will make millions off of, who else? Consumers.

I'd never heard of Queensryche before this thread, but I'll be glad to boycott them anyway.

People have said to us, How can you do this? How can you get behind this? And I say to them, Listen to the records."Yeah, okay...I'll follow you...right behind the rest of the lemmings headed for the cliff.
