Believe it or not. The Press Democrat, where this story is from, is owned by the NY Times. Today the paper had an editorial supporting the right of these students to have there senior picture taken with an American flag. Wonders will never cease.

Next thing you know the Supremes will decide that a "separation of state and state" is a good idea, and therefore has been in the Constitution all along.
It is not like we need to give equal time to flags from OTHER countries. This is the USA.

This is no surprise.
The public schools are at war with the American people and their ideals.
As I've posted oh so many times!

If only they were trying to burn the flag they could get some help from the ACLU.

These students are patriots. I,for one, am damn sick and tired of these communists from removing our precious flag, our ten commandments and our God from public places. These so called officials need to be deported.

>>>>How do these cruds get into our schools ?The leftwing has had a strong foothold in America's public school system for roughly the last 30 years. They're part of an educational system operated by the likes of the NEA and its many alphabet off-shoots. Nothing but a bunch of liberals, socialists and communists.

Camille Wiles, 17, said Latino students wanted to display Mexican flags in previous years... When Mexican taxpayers fund the school, I would see no problem with this.

Gingrich, the Georgia Republican who engineered a GOP takeover of the House of Representatives in 1994, was in Sonoma County for a speaking engagement Saturday night.Looks like we're still hearing about the COP "takeover" of the House. I wish people would get over it, and call it what it is: When more Republicans than Democrats were voted into Congress!

What is this crap?!
Because someone appeared with a Mexican flag in last year's portrait...this means that there can't be an American flag in the picture?
Special note to school administrators and teachers:
THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. IT IS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE TO SHOW AN AMERICAN FLAG IN A CLASS PORTRAIT. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO SHOW A FLAG FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY!
