A friend in Philly said the local theater announced at the last moment that the scheduled showing was canceled due to "pending legal action".
Maybe we all need just one, global TV station that broadcasts The Indisputable Truth in an endless loop.
Oh, wait...Orwell already dreamed that.
Never mind.

The network, on its Web site, has invited viewers to comment on the appropriateness of showing the documentary. Web site

If the lib's can challenge licensing of Sinclair stations. How come we can't challenge the license's of the networks:?

This must be a powerful film. Didn't these same people decry The Passion?
That really worked, didn't it?

The newswire says Sinclair will lose out on about $430,000 in revenue if it decides to forgo advertising altogether and pre-empt the entire 90-minute slot with the program The Swift Boat Vets 527 could make a nice dent in this with their war chest. And steal another headline as well.

"The Times article did not address why CBS continues to have anti-Bush newsman Dan Rather anchor its nightly news program."
Just wondering whether they said anything about anti-Bush Koppel's fatally flawed hatchet-job attempt on the Swiftboat Vets? Guess they didn't see any political motivation there (sarcasm off)

Seriously?
Then God bless them!
I wrote them a nice email and begged to know what station in my area might be running it *or* for an internet link where I can "pay per view" the final cut.

Let's see...Rush Limbaugh's on over 600 radio stations and Air America is on a little over 30 stations. If I were Sinclair's advertisers, I'd learn a lesson from that.

Jim Quinn (local host out of Pittsburgh) was talking about the Sinclair broadcast with Chris Ruddy from Newsmax this morning and said that if you add up all the money spent by the media trashing Bush, it would amount to a 2 billion dollar onslaught, and with that in mind, it's truly remarkable that Bush is ahead at all in the polls.
And the way they talked about Stolen Honor, no wonder the Kerry campaign is having fits. This could bury him, if enough people get to see it.

I haven't heard that. I went to the big talker web site, which is sponsoring it, and it's still listed as occurring tonight. Unfortunately, the theater, a small one, does not open until 3:30. I will call to see if this is on their recording. Thanks for the warning.

I just called my cable co. and they have no Sinclair channels.
I sure hope it's available on the net.
It won't change *my* vote [LOL!] but I want to see it anyway....:)
