"Do the comments cause you to think your in the Twilight Zone?"
For a while, I thought I was. There were so many nice ones I was completely humbled.
Chris
"It was a glowing endorsement and thank you for it."
Thank you for reading it and making the nice comments. It's quite humbling and I appreciate it. I really do.
Chris
"Bravo!!! Most excellent!
Ya' done good, kid.
I had to lol at the guy who called you a troll. ;o)
Thanks for pinging me."
You're welcome for the ping. And thank you for those nice comments. I appreciate 'em. More than you know.
Wow, thanks. I really appreciate it.
Thank you!
BTTT!!!!!!!!
Pay it forward!! - Pingaling!!
Oh, I know. The only reason I didn't pull the trigger was because I'm familiar with the poster. Otherwise it would have been a case of:
"Boom! Boom! Boom! (silence) Halt! Who goes there?"
Here's some commentary for you. Ping!
When people ask me how I like Kerry and Edwards, my reply is, "On toast!"
I like that. Good one.
FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS! FLUSH THE JOHNS!
I completely agree with you: Flush the Johns! I think in the next couple of weeks it will become completely apparent that it's going to happen.
Okay, but come on, shouldn't we read just a little bit of the subject before we judge? If your case is valid are trolls getting praised because they have good titles?? ;-)
BTTT!
Here's something you can print out for her. Ping!
Obviously, trolls should not be praised(however, I do tend to wonder if the natural responses of viking kitties and zotting sometimes encourages troll behavior to continue...Yes I know I am VERY guilty of participating in such zotting, and if zotting is just another form of praise to the troll's twisted pt. of view...just a thought)Anyhow, though, Chris knew he was going to get people who were going to jump the gun, given the article's length. Afterall, the length of the article was part of the ruse...don't you think? I guess Chris read up on Swif and decided to make his own "Modest Proposal"...knowing full well there would be claims of "trolling" In fact, I think he even wanted to stir the pot a bit.
I do understand your point and I don't disagree, but whatever Chris' intentions were is really not the issue. It's a problem I see way too often and it seems to be on the rise - someone reads the title of the post and then replies without any understanding of the article or vanity. I call it laziness. Before offering an opinion on any subject, I prefer to know a bit about it; before condemning someone, I'd like to know there's a crime.
Ping! Give this to your neighbor.
Here you go. You might like this one.
