Week-long prayer vigil sign-up for Election 2004

EVERYONE should be working to Get Out the VOte in the last 72 hours.

BTW, I signed up for the FR Election Prayer Vigil. After praying this morning I felt I needed to open my Bible as I often do, with eyes closed asking for guidance. Here is the amazing passageI turned to:

2 Chron 12-15

Oh our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.

Then the spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Benanaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, (don't you love the long family connection?)in the midst of the assembly.

And he said: Listen, all you Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you, "Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's."

I find it comforting to know that He will fight and win the battle, and we are helping as we can. Have a good day everyone, and say a prayer for our President's protection from the enemies and media, that the American people will wake up and hear God's call, become more informed, and that vote fraud will be stamped out. A wonderful thread.

I truly believe the Lord is on Bush's side and I can take some peace in knowing that He alone is in control of this election and not the MSM or any October surprise. It is my hope and prayer that Bush and all Republicans do well and that the values they represent can remain a symbol to the rest of the world of the Lord's protective hand upon this Earth. I also prayer that the Lord can humble me enough to accept whatever the outcome He delivers. While I prayer for the joy of victory, I trust his Spirit will guide us all through the pain of defeat should he deem it necessary.

May the Lord Bless all of you paricipating in these prayer sessions. I believe this may be the secret weapon which puts Bush over the top.
