Repeat after me "WE'RE DOOMED!"Lol! But seriously, we don't have much time to correct all this, our children we pay the penalty for our national frivolous spending programs. Government should encourage hard work and liberty, not make people dependents.

In the 1800s, the US was not very far advanced (in terms of material things) from the countries those immigrants came from.
In addition, there were no government services to serve as a "safety net" for those unable to make it in the new world, and therefore many of them went back home.

So if John Tanton gave NumbersUSA $20, that would make that statement true.
How much money DID John Tanton give any of those groups? They don't say.

In the interest of fair disclosure about your sources; from the Wall Street Journal:In the interest of fair disclosure, what is the Wall Street Journal's position on illegal aliens?

Ok, no tax-dollars to support illegals. They want to work here, then let them work. End of story. Oh, and tax-dollars DID help the 19th century immigrants.

[I wonder whether the USA is undergoing some dark, behind the scenes politicization? Is the USA undergoing a 'planned obsolescence'? We can certainly not sustain when professional jobs are being outsourced to India and elsewhere and millions of illegals are coming in to clean toilets and be subsidized in their health care, social services, and education by the remaining American taxpayer-workers.] I get tired of saying it but all you have to do is look at the fact that all voting info is printed in spanish and has been for over 10 years. The illegal invasion of America by a uneducated class of people who are not wanted by their own nation is a plan by the swamp to undermind america and bring us to our knees so the world can be one big happy global family of the haves and the havenots. The middle class of America will be eliminated and it is being done on purpose by TPTB. Call me a tin foil stock owner. I do not care.
My voter ballot guide this year is 98 pages long (because of prop questions) but half that is in spanish.
Our political "leaders" are up to something and they have no intention of assimilating all these illegals. Most of the border states look like Tijuana with all signs in spanish.
I am all for legal immigration but this nonsense that washington is loading on our backs has to cease and desist.

Yup. Give these folks the chance to apply legally and they would. Instead there's a quota which wasn't there when your ancestors (and mine) came across.

No, the WSJ is only against illegal aliens to the extent that they oppose keeping them illegal. They want them documented and legalized. While generally a conservative paper the Journal parts ways on illegal aliens and routinely refers to anyone opposing legalization as "restrictionists" and "anti-immigrant".

Yes, I should have stated that better. But it is up to citizens like ourselves to report these employers, but it is easier to have someone else do it. If the voices were loud enough, such places of employ were boycotted, then the masses would show through duty to one's country, consumer action and not just lip service "reaction" to this problem.
Oh..but I can't do that, their pizza is the best around!
We are unarmed chair generals in task, as well, when it comes to solving the problem of illegal immigration.
I can't turn in my boss for hiring illegals to clean their home or serve cocktails at the next soiree to which you will most likely attend!
What a twisted web is woven when it comes to illegal immigration and taking the action necessary to provide for a safer nation. You know historically those you elect to office are never going to take this task to hand as it is too political. Those that would take action, as you well know, are not elected should they even reach "voter consideration" for the government office at at hand.
