I think it's hilarious that Bush is talking about fighting terrorism and democracy in the Middle East while sKerry is whining about...flu shots.
Has anyone asked JFKerry if he got his flu shot????
You're right....he's just not the MAN that W is and it's going to cost him the crucial woman's vote
But Fear is the greatest get out the vote tool! Flu-shots are laughable, but to the retarded seniors among us and the breathless Diane Sawyer this AM it's a real issue!
speaking of the "FLU SHOTS RUN AMOK" , did you happen to see noted liberal author elanor " fell off the cliff" write an article about the flu shot problem would "swing the election " ? i saw it on real clear politics, but couldn't bring myself to read it. good old elanor is a cookie or two short of a happy meal, IMO.
Kerry is channeling Gerry Ford! What a hoot!
NPR was all over flu shots this morning too. They went on and on about all the poor elderly folk standing in lines and about the potential for a "catastrophe" in hospitals this year, all due to mismanagement and ineptitude of the Bush administration, of course. They even quoted one lady that said "If my mother dies, it's your fault!" So now they can add 'Bush Killed Your Mother' to their bumper sticker repertoire.
Thank you for making a very astute observation. One of the internals on polls is always that Kerry falls behind Bush on leadership, and I do think that implies people sense Bush sees the big picture, and has the imperative goal in life, of protecting this country, whether that helps his re-election or not. In other words, Bush understands what's important, while Kerry spews out self-serving campaign rhetoric, often untrue, on side issues.
Kerry is flitting from one issue to another, it makes him look small and unworthy to hold the the office. (Have you noticed how Kerry will make a statement, declare on an issue, and then quote The New York Times, as if he needs corrobative validation?)
It would be unthinkable for a President/Commander In Chief to be so unsure of himself that he quotes a newspaper for confirmation that he had made the right decision. Yet Kerry (and his spokesmen), do this all the time, and on the most important of issues.
