Rudy may not be a die-hard conservative but he is extremely popular with Dems. and Repubs. I think if he ran against Hillary he is the only one right now who could beat her and I have this gut feeling Hillary will win her second term in the senate in 2006 and with that under her belt she will go for the presidency in 2008.

if Rudy or Pataki decides to run for senate - Hillary will skip it and just move right into the presidential race.

I agree...no candidate is going to meet all our individual needs.....and I don't believe Rudy would go against the 2 amendment....
Right now he's the only one I think could take on that witch in 2008.
