Gov. Jeb Bush said Sunday he will not run for president in 2008... I like Jeb, but I don't think he's Presidential material. Besides, I'd rather have Tancredo in 2008.

You really think there is a chance that might happen?

I like Jeb better than Dubya. He seems more conservative.

I like Jeb, but I don't think he's Presidential material. He's more presidential material than George W. is, IMO, which shows you how good he could be. But, American voters are not going to put another Bush in the White House, and Jeb knows it.
Besides, I'd rather have Tancredo in 2008.
Tancredo has made way too many enemies in the GOP to even think about the Presidency.

Besides, I'd rather have Tancredo in 2008. Running in what party?

I'd rather have Tancredo in 2008.I like Tancredo and I hope he keeps doing everything he's doing about our Invader problem.
But, he's never going to be President. The RNC will block him from becoming anything more than what he is. He's a patriotic Congressman willing to trade away any political future he might have had in order to fulfil his sworn duty to his constituants. There aren't many like him.

Tancredo not only will not be the nominee in 2008, if he ran it would only be to raise his profile in the House. Colin Powell is a strong possibility. Condi Rice would make a great Veep choice for anyone but Powell. John Kyl is the most able Republican for the job. Talk about gravitas.

a lot of people in the party considered jeb a stronger candidate than W before 2000.
