No, Lamar is a tax-raising RINO and an embarassment to the great state of Tennessee. Please, don't ever mention him again. :)

I'm from Massachusetts and would like to see Romney run for President. It's becoming more and more commonplace for governors, not senators or congressmen to win the Presidency. Their skills are different than what is needed to be an effective executive (and the skeletons in their legislative closets are too numerous).

I also like Benson of NH.

I like Romney too. But, he might not sell well in the South.

It will be very difficult for a pro-choice Republican to be nominated.

Guiliani would destroy anybody he ran against in 2008, but he could never get nominated.

"Gov. Jeb Bush said Sunday he will not run for president in 2008"

Good.

Two Bushes are enough. This is America, not Pharonic Egypt. We don't need dynasties here - be they Bushes or Kennedys. Bush I was a fool.

Bush II is a great President, but a poor campaigner and debater, and by the time this election is over, millions of conservative Republicans like myself willhave had nervous breakdowns over these close polls - polls which should be anything but close.

They should give someone else a chance. Personally, I'd like to see Tom Tancredo or Condi Rice run.

2008 will be a test of common sense for the republican party. the idea that Rudy as president would lead the charge towards new & expanded abortion rights, is crazy.

I would have to do some research, but George Allen sounds good to me. I loved him as Governor of Virginia, but then again didn't I read that before the NFL season began someone else accoiated with the Redskins (Joe Gibbs) was being tauted for President?

The 2008 primaries will likely come down to the dominant conservative wing of the party seeking to lock ranks behind a conservative candidate to stop Rudy or McCain from taking the nomination.

If Jeb's surname was anything other than Bush he'd be the natural frontrunner for that position.

It's likely going to come down to Owens, Frist or Romney. My very early choice for the ticket is Owens/Bush (Jeb at the bottom of the ticket should be doable, and a ticket that can carry Colorado and Florida would be very tough for any Dem to beat).

While I understand your concerns, I would hope that the person elected to serve the highest office in this country would be one who is the most competent, who understands the importance of our alliance with Israel, and who especially recognizes the deep moral gulf between the Palestinian terrorists and the government of Israel. Jew or non-Jew.

Very good point on Coleman. And his wife really fills out lingerie!

I was pretty surprised by that action on his wife's part!

Hell Yea Guilliani

And I dont know who was stupid enough to think he lost to Hilliary. He was beating Hilliary and dropped out due to Prostate Cancer. The guy who replaced him in the last leg of the race still made it a close race. NYers hate Clinton and she will no thave a second term.

Guilliani 2006 for Senate!

Just another comment I dont know how anyone can say hes anti-Families. He cleaned up Times Square took away all the gay shops and the Smut shops. Its because of him that NYC is cleaned up. He also made the city about 10 times safer since it is now the safest city in the US and the 10th safest largest city in the world.

I don't know what world half the people are living in but if they knew what he did for this city Before 9/11 hed still be a major candidate.
