If they were held "under armed guard"; what's the surprise? They were AWOL, for cryin' out loud. This army reservist doesn't know military procedure?
One might wonder; 'what did she expect. . .' and why? This story is still 'front and center' this morning; and seems Military is making serious effort to keep this story from getting out of control.
More like disobeying a direct order, and cowardice in the face of the enemy. Firing squad is the remedy.
