Gen Chambers puts some perspective on the so called suicide mission of the 343rd.

He says they have had 26 fatalitys in 75,000 missions

26 too many but those are pretty good odds in a war zone

Just reading up a little on night terrors, because of this comment from Brinkley.

Stress can bring them on (certain medications do as well). Imagine the stress the POTUS is under day in and day out.

Night terrors cause the heart rate to go up to 160 to 170 beats per minute!

How could Kerry be considered fit to occupy the office?

The desperation of the Kerry campaign is becoming more evident every day. And that desperation was on display today on MTP. Bob Shrum is one of the most meanspirited Democrat hacks alive. Sending Shrum out to promote and defend John Kerry is a clear indication that the Senators campaign believes they are in trouble and on the verge of losing the election. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

I was VERY disappointed that DeMint was so weak in his defense and explaination of the National Sales Tax (23%), I could have made a case than he did.

I'm glad he's for it, but he sure needs to find a way to communicate better. I more people really understood how good this was there would be a hugmongous outcry for it.

I am not a health care professional, but I would bet he would stroke out or have a heart attack very shortly. God help us if Silky Pony is in the oval office. But on the bright side maybe he could sue us back to prosperity.

Not only does he have night terrors, from what I have read, he has all his Vietnam "video" on a CD and watches it almost daily; and he usually makes reporters who come to interview him watch it with him.

UGH!! Sunday Morning Talk Shows. I'd rather have someone slice my eyelids off with a dull razor blade. Me too. I'd rather, weasels rip my flesh...

I'd rather chew tin foil.

South Carolina GOP Senate candidate Jim DeMint is really needed in the Senate to maintain, and hopefully expand, the GOP 'Pub Senate majority.

DeMint is strongly backing alternates to the current job-killing, investment-choking, savings-stifling, income tax system.

Specifically, he has proposed a federal sales tax in place of the income tax system.

Please go to the DeMint for Senate web site (click here) or campaign offices and help in any way you can. Get signs, bumper stickers, and volunteer if you live in the state. If not in that state, you can still contribute securely online by credit card.

Well, I will say what many of us are thinking. Besides being an evil, unscrupulous traitor and an opportunistic rich woman-marrying gigolo, the man is one hundred per cent certifiably insane. He is nutty as a fruitcake, gone round the bend, bats in the belfry, LOONY!!!

I agree that DeMint didn't debate as well as he could, but he has much better ideas for the US and SC than the pro-income tax, pro-abortion Dem Tennanbaum.

It's no surprise then that he is unable to let the traumas of Vietnam fade, if he's being reminded of it almost daily.

He's not a well man. "Unfit for Command"...!

Thanks for posting those pictures. I have never seen that horror up close before and I have resented the media for 'protecting' me. These are the images that need to be seared into the conscience of anyone wanting to go in and give the likes of a Michael Moore any credibility...

The state is running advertisments that it's OK to come vote without proper ID and you don't need to be on the voter registration rolls. Just fill out a provisional ballot.

How in the heck can they get away with this?

God help us if Silky Pony is in the oval office.

He'd have to wrestle Teraayza for it. Speaking of Teraayza, maybe she should start feeding some of those gin-soaked raisins to sKerry, he needs some help.

But on the bright side maybe he could sue us back to prosperity.

I can see it now. We face another soap opera just like the clinton years, if these people take over.

Probably as a wistful reminder of the only halfway honorable thing he has done in his otherwise self-centered, useless existence.

I agree; something is basically wrong with a man who can't seem to leave Vietnam behind; perhaps it's guilt for all his opportunistic lies manifesting itself.
