Rendell, like most ELECTED democrats,
is incapable of original thought and merely
mouths the party line and daily talking points,
whenever he, and they, can remember 'em.

LOL!

Steph asks Ed Rendell about the polls showing Bush is expected to win by around 56% of people polled. He cites margin of error! Then says new voter registrations will take care of things. New voters aren't polled. (Probably too dead to talk back.)

Where is Bush strong in PA? In the core, says Rendell. Also in the suburbs because of security and terrorism.

Kerry must do as well as Gore did in PA, he says. There aren't enough votes in the rest of the state to overcome Philadelphia. Trend's going Dem. Biggest deficit in history...

Has Kerry convinced? Rendell dodges this.

White Catholics? are you worried? ER says no, they opposed him and he won.

Fear-mongering. Pre-emptive legal strike quote. Scare tactics? ER admits the hosing ad is over the top but stands firm on the rest. There IS voter intimidation and being ready is the best defense.

Jeb says his brother's going to unite the country after he's elected. ER: Well I hope so. LOL.

but in my opionion, Rudy has been the best spokesman for President Bush.

Especially when it comes to the war on terror. He was on the front line on 9/11, he gets it, and he's spreading the word.

We need the South Carolina Senate seat. Net loss of one or two Senate seats may cause Dems to get the majority in the U.S. Senate, making Daschle or some other Dem into the majority leader. In order to get Supreme Court and other judges confirmed, we need a larger Senate majority.

Please go to the DeMint for Senate web site (click here) or campaign offices and help in any way you can. Get signs, bumper stickers, and volunteer if you live in the state. If not in that state, you can still contribute securely online by credit card.

I wonder if Kerry has ever walked the Wall. Many of my fellow vets have been able to release their inner demons after taking that walk and caressing the names........

You caught this:

"A few minutes ago on CBS's Sunday morning program, Bob Scieffer gave credit to a 25 year old female producer (I didn't catch the name) for the question about strong women. Paraphrasing: A few days before the debate (during a meeting) my 25 year old producer said, "You don't have a single question about women." Obviously, she knew the questions."

You made a BRILLIANT point in catching Scheiffer's "oops"....I DO HOPE it's picked up and mentioned by Brit Hume tomorrow night....but let's not take a chance.. PLEASE email him and ask him to read the Face The Nation transcript!!! While it won't make a tinker's damn worth of difference in the over all scheme of things, it should provide another nail in CBS's credibility coffin.

Me neither.
I reckon because Russert treats Rush with such respect and admiration...

Russert's program has achieved its highest ratings (viewership) when Rush has been his solo guest.

Used to be around Thanksgiving.
Rush would sit down for an hour with Russert.
I wish he'd stop that. LOL.

He skipped the year after he lost his hearing. Has he done it since? (last year) I don't think he has. We will see about this year.

"If Rendell believes himself, he's nuts. Or is that redundant?"

Rendell and the dems are setting up a big time voter fraud scenerio in PA.
The state is running advertisments that it's OK to come vote without proper ID and you don't need to be on the voter registration rolls. Just fill out a provisional ballot.
Disgusting.

On FOX, Kristol did a good job of defending Sinclair's fairness in broadcasting the POW documentary. He pointed out that CBS is still using Rather, after forgeries etal, ABC is still using Koppel, after his use of Viet cong witnesses and not interviewing U.S. combat heroes who were eye witnesses etc. It was a great spiel and a little bit of a suprise coming from Kristol. After each of those , he asked "Is THAT fair?" very effective. IMHO

I wonder if Kerry has ever walked the Wall.

In typical narcissistic Kerry fashion, he illegally filmed a campaign commercial there in 1984!

KERRY FILM CALLED ILLEGAL\ REPORT: TV AT WAR MEMORIAL FORBIDDEN
Published on October 17, 1984
Author(s): Jim Calogero, Globe Staff

A controversial primary campaign advertisement showing Democratic Senate candidate John F. Kerry in front of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington was filmed illegally against the wishes of the National Park Service, a TV news report said last night.

The report also said that the advertising film crew was chased away by a national park ranger - but apparently not before the TV ad was completed.

Park regulations forbid filming within 200 yards of the memorial without

after that, I sure didn't see it or hear about it.
