BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) The Rev. Jesse Jackson celebrated his election-themed 63rd birthday party at a swank hotel, surrounded by California Democratic leaders and celebrity activists.

``It is, at once, my 63rd birthday and it is also mobilizing friends for a 19-day countdown to the Nov. 2 election,'' he said at a news conference before Thursday's party at the Beverly Hilton hotel.

Jackson, who is president of the Chicago-based Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, urged people to get out and work ``to stop the schemes of voter suppression,'' referring to allegations by federal civil rights monitors that the ballots of black Florida voters in 2000 were disproportionately tossed out because of faulty machinery and ballot problems.

Guests at the party included filmmaker Michael Moore, activist actor Mike Farrell, former Gov. Gray Davis and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters.

Moore urged Californians to take an active role in the presidential campaign.

``We need as much physical labor as possible between now and Nov. 2,'' he said. ``You border three states, three states that are going to be very close Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.''

The only problem with ALL these claims of voter intimidation is that the Federal Civil Rights commission AND the Civil rights division of the Justice depart found -- after a long study of the issues raise -- NO effort to intimidate ANY voters in Florida...the DNC and the so called "Black Leaders" are flaming slime ball liars!!!

Also, this was the Civil Rights Commission and Justice department from Clinton's administration, NOT Bush's!

The REVERAND Jackson screams, "Bring on the Ho's."

I imagine Jesie lamented the absence of that ol' rascal, Bill Clinton.

" I know Bill would have brought plenty of coke and ho's."

Instead , Jessie's stuck partying with fat assed Mike Moore.
