No need to be offended. Everyone's just jumpy. We've had a buttload of trolls roaming around here lately, and when a newbie shows up and starts posting topics, everyone gets suspicious.

Usually it's better to respond to some threads first before you start posting topics of your own, particularly one-liners like this one.
