Force prison guards to do their jobs. Fire them or charge them if they don't.

What would happen if you didn't do your job? Would your boss's only option be to pay you more?

We're not talking about converting 300 million Americans. People who run prisons have a job to do and they're not doign it. If they're psychotic enough to enjoy watching prisoners get raped, I suggest they're in the wrong line of work.

I say guards who are into that sort of voyuerism are on the wrongs side of the prison bars. They're enabling societal debauchery not correcting it while they're in a "correctional" facility. Oh the irony there.

One problem with that is that there aren't enough guards to watch the inmates all the time in safe situations.

I am all for spartan barracks or dorms, 2 men to a room, locked down all day, leave enough room for an exercise mat and a radio with plenty of free Bibles to read and a visiting book cart.

Leave them locked up all day, have showers in the cell right next to the toilet, and use a selector switch like at a car wash, one to choose soapy water, the other to select rinse water!
