Looks like a trap shotgun, typically a 30" barrel. Most shotguns come standard with a 28" barrel, but some (for ducks/geese) have up to a 36" barrel.
It looks big because it's an over-and-under shotgun with two barrels stacked vertically with a cooling rib on top. It's like a double barrel sideways.
Flag in the background. Nice photo op.
" Are you sure TEREZAAAAA was insured"
It's a double-barrel, over/under.
He's been practicing the bow-legged stance to win the cowboy vote. Lots of luck, J. Forbes!
I can't wait to lick this sucker clean and shove it up my ass as far as I can.
Has anyone noticed the magazine extention on the benelli the other guy is holding???
I wonder how old Johnny boy transports that shotgun around. It has definitely crossed state lines a number of time. I wonder if all applicable laws for the transportation of a firearm have been followed?
It has a long barrel (duck and geese) for a tighter pattern, and it definitely has a vented rib.
It's probably just a 12 or 10 guage, nothing unusual, except that it is probably too expensive for the working poor to own. :)
For the life of me, I don't believe he actually shot that pheasant.
Ten to one that bird was shot in the back.
Actually, I think the other fella in the photo bagged the bird.
It's probably another gimme gift. But as in the past, he proves he doesn't know how to shoot properly, and ignores the recommended hearing and vision protection. Sets a nice example. Wish he'd try to hand-shoot it straight up in the air like Saddam did!
...shouldn't a little flag with the word "BANG" pop out of the barrel?
Anything for that photo-op, though. What a fool.
John Kerry's no sportsman...that dog don't hunt.
Kerry probably shot the dog.
If Kerry shot it I bet that pheasant was tied to a stake in the ground.
Looks like it's got 30" barrels which do indeed make the gun look quite large. Although I don't know why he'd be shooting trap or skeet with such a long gun.
