Don't know about Vegas. Here's the summary of the Tradesports numbers. Operate on the same principal that the traders/investors/bettors have skin in the game so the partisanship of the MSM is peeled away. Now I'd still treat this with some skepticism since the trading volumes are small and are subject to manipulation. The net result, W. is at 291 EV from impartial bettors. He's been way North of 270 for weeks and weeks. He stayed above 270 EV even during the Kerry surge which has petered out. Nothing left to do but get out the vote in OH.

Rush called notice to this site today, and someone attempted to manipulate the market. That's the reason for the sharp jump downward.
I could give anybody several better ways to make money in this same market that would have been far better investments of 40-50K$... and that would have been longer lasting and thought provoking manipulations if someone were really interested in doing so. This was simply a maroon acting somehow.

Soros would not waste his money, he knows how to play markets properly. He could have put constant, steady pressure on for days using that much money.
It could be true, but that explanation doesn't quite add up. Tradesports won't give you that much credit without validating your account, credit card payments are strictly limited until verified. It would take a day or two to move that much money in. So it seems implausible to me that someone with money to burn hears rush then less than an hour later does a $30k trade.
