This is worse than CBS.

To give creedence to sources in a communist nation is a joke. It would be like interviewing native cubans about Fidel in Havana, how could you expect the answers to be untainted by the government.

Furthurmore, Koppel mentioned 12 VC at one point and then 20. He couldn't even keep his story straight.

Disgusting.

After the interview, Koppel tried to spin it by saying that IF the report had been bad for Kerry they would have aired it. So Ted is OPENLY ADMITTING that this story was meant to be good for Kerry.

Hey Ted, using your credibility argument, there are a bunch of Germans who swear that there were no death camps. I guess they are just setting the record straight. They obviously have no motive, the war is over.

I remember a lot of "journalists" doing exactly that in Iraq in the run up to the war, asking civilians what they "thought" about being attacked by the U.S., with government minders standing right there.
