I am in the process of watching this on the Pacific Coast as I type. The thing that jumped out at me from the git-go was that Nightline DID NOT INITIATE THIS STORY. Ted said -- and I will check this later when I can review the recording I am making -- that they were APPROACHED BY AN INDEPENDENT PRODUCER.
