UH-OH...buh-bye gun shows??? We have what he said he backed now. I HOPE that's what he's referring to.
Relying on memory, I think in 2000 he supported the compromise bill (all private sales through instacheck or 24 hours) instead of the Lautenberg one(3 days).
Both of them are unacceptable to me.
