I think it is sort of like prewedding jitters except the context is different. For the life of me, I cannot fathom how even 10 percent of the electorate would vote for Kerry. I just cannot fathom it. Maybe it is like my grandmother would roll in her grave if she could spend 10 minutes in modern day America. Maybe I am just old and out of touch. It is so weird.

My mother was saying that she's been able to vote for 49 years and this is the first time she is uncertain and apprehensive about an election.

We have to remind ourselves that the MSM has the self-appointed mandate to INFORM the electorate. They have FAIL. TOTALLY. COMPLETELY. AND MISERABLY. They don't report good news about Iraq or Afghanistan, they don't show the mass graves, the killing fields of vile, sadist Saddam. They don't inform the electorate about Kerry's RECORD, nor about his pro North Vietnam activities. They've become a TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE for the Democrat Party. The chronically underhanded coverage is infuriating. I'm not looking for a GOP cheerleader, just a FAIR hearing.

Just imagine if Kerry *is* elected, it will PERMANENTLY alter how campaigns and news is broadcast, slanted and will mean a fair, balanced political dialog and free speech is an endangered species. Sure *we* might be able to inform ourselves but all our hard work is diluted by the brainwashing in public schooling, via MSM, via the new hip and hip-hop cultural vanguards. The LEFT will have triumphed by defining the rules of political engagement and becoming thoroughly entrenched in both pop culture and civic institutions.
