Why would President Carter or an other Dem even bother to take a phone call from a Swift Boat Vet. Pres. Carter is one mean man. I am usually the poster child for optimism but this election is getting to me.

I think we are all reaching our limit, but just imagine how President Bush must feel, having to stand up in the face of all these lies etc everyday. Cowboy up everyone...it ain't over till its over and we need to fight to the last conservative.
He didn't say who the phone call was coming from. It could be from a reporter working on the story he has; that is how I took it. Otherwise, it would not make sense.
