Actually, if Chechens perpetrated a 9/11-scale attack in the US, here is what would happen:
President Bush will call Putin and tell him that Chechnya must be leveled. Will we under take a joint US-Russian campaign to obliterate Chechnya. That's what will happen.
Unfortunetly for America, our government (both parties) simply either doesn't give a damn or is so incompetent that until large amounts of americans are killed IN America, nothing gets done. We sponsored the Arabs and they blew up 2 barracks, 2 embassies and 1 warship. Of course all were OVER THERE so it didn't really matter to either the people or the government. We sponsored the Chechins (in various ways directly and non directly) and now it turns out that the actual suicider of the Cole was Chechin. Dead Chechins all over Afghanistan and Zurquawi's group is chuck full of them, but since they haven't killed anyone YET in the US, and in large numbers, we still give them tack support.
I'm still waiting for the Albanian terrorism to reach America.
