Brings tears to my eyes! How wonderful that God blesses us so much when we come to Him in prayer. There is such tremendous joy in that peace that only He can bring us. Thank you so much, Sea2ShiningSea.
O Lord,
we come to you in fear and anxiety,
be thou our strength.
O Lord,
we come to you in weakness,
fear for the future,
pressed about by the darkness.
be thou our light.
O Lord,
we cast our griefs upon you,
as you asked us,
and commend each and every one
in need of mercy
to your heart filled with love.
O Lord,
Watch over your servant George.
How anxiously we hover about him,
worried, even as we know he is in your hands,
loving in our fear,
even as we know you are the truth that will open all doors,
longing for surety,
even as we know you are the solid rock against all storms.
Be with him,
and with us
as we pray this evening,
