Listen to this video.

What is the potential impact of his "no new taxes" pledge on Social Security? Given the baby boomer demographic sunami coming towards Social Security a President Kerry would have three choices: 1) raise Social Security taxes 2) modernize Social Security through private accounts, or 3) cut benefits. After the last debate it seems that Kerry has ruled out item 1) and previously he's ruled out 2)...what will be the cost, in real terms and politically if he tries to do 3)?

He stated middle class families, I believe. As I am single, I know I won't be included.

"Kerry's "Read My Lips" Pledge"

Kerry will never be held to a Republican ethical standard by the MSM, the Democrats or the Republicans. It's just another wild-eyed promise that, if he's elected, will be immediately forgotten.

The President can't raise taxes. Congress could do it though, and that's Kerry's technicality loophole.

What about impact on Social Security taxes or benefits? Is this something the President should bring up tomorrow night -- especially in light of Kerry's efforts to scare seniors and demagogue Social Security?

It's no loophole. If Kerry signs a bill increasing taxes, HE is increasing taxes, regardless of Congress' action.

Has anyone ever run the figures on the financial impact on Social Security of 43,000,000 abortions since Roe v. Wade was handed down?

Oh, yeah. I remember when Clinton said in 92 he would give the middle class a tax break too, but when he got in office, he said, "Aw gee, things are worse than I thought and I can't give you your tax cut." So he promptly raised taxes on the elderly.

This promise could be used to sink Kerry in the primaries for 2008 in favor of Hillary. (just in case Kerry wins)

From FOXNews...Kerry is also talking about revising the top two tax brackets as well. According to Terry Keenan, this would certainly affect wage earners down to approx $140M a year also, NOT JUST $200M or above.

More LIBERAL LIES...they just keep comin' and the MSM keeps ignoring them...I've just about had it with them.

As a Senator, doesn't Kerry only get paid $158,000? Not enough to qualify for the tax increase, unless he has some of that investment income.

If Kerry wins, we'll be lucky to be having ANY elections in 2008.
