I just spit water all over my keyboard

Dr Evil; "Maag-Mah" - I can no longer say "magma" normally.

I must confess I cannot read or watch any reports of Mt. Saint Helens in which the word "Magma" is mentioned without thinking of the movie. Probably the same could be said for any references to Chilean Sea Bass.

The vent hole and newly formed mound behind
the lava dome at Mount St. Helens has grown
in size, raising and cracking the glacier to
the right after a steam and ash eruption.

KGW - Portland had some EXCELLENT helicopter shots this evening after dusk. You can see the red glowing lava in the new dome. I'll see if I can grab a shot from the KGW web page.

I have been refreshing the webcam photo as it has been getting dark. Usually of no use at night, right now you can see the red glow.
