Most of my friends are political junkies, but one apolitical friend watched the convention and phoned me after Zell's speech...'This guy must be the October Surprise!...just turn him loose and let him talk'. LOL.
Zell served with Kerry in the Senate...imagine the stories he could tell....

Seriously, I would LOVE to have a long Sunday lunch with this gentleman. His speech at the RNC was truly amazing...can you imagine the guy in person???
No he didn't (at least by Kerry's definition). If the Swift Vets did "not" serve with Kerry, then this Senator from a whole 'nother state didn't.
Also, Kerry would have had to attend a lot more sessions of the Senate to qualify as "service".
