He was very aloof and disdainful of people under him...
This is how he came across in the debate last week as well.
God bless these veterans for having the courage to come forward and cast a spotlight on Kerry's deceptions. It's bad enough that these heroes had to deal with the repercussions of those lies 30 years ago, but now they have to relive the pain of those experiences while the Democrats denigrate them all over again. It's despicable.
John Kerry should be prosecuted because of his wartime activities, not promoted to Commander in Chief.

..........
aha! another example of Kerry's being 'consistent'
BR> 30 years ago he said he's like to see the US military put under the control of the UN.
Still does.
30 years ago he was a traitorous anit-war rabble rouser.
still is
during the Reagan years, he believed, as la Chamberlain, in appeasement and capitulation.
Still does.
In 'nam, he'd turn and run away from the enemy -
he'll do it again today...
So why do we call him a flip-flopper?
We aught to have an ad pointing out all the ways in which he DOESN"T flip-flop -
and oh, yes, do you think he's still 'aloof and disdainful? raise your hand.
